Airbus 330 crashes over the Atlantic Ocean on May 31, 2009
15 January 2009 - US Airways Flight 1549 ditched into the Hudson River in New York City after calls of having been hit by a flock of geese.
Aircraft - Airbus A320. 155 total passengers and crew on board survived. Survival Rate - 100%.
16 January 2002 - Garuda Indonesia Flight 421 ditched near Yogyakarta. Engine failure in poor weather (heavy precipitation) led to the incident. Aircraft - Boeing 737. 60 total passengers and crew; one fatality (flight attendant). Survival Rate - 98%.
23 November 1996 - Ethiopian Airlines Flight 961 ditched close to land after running out of fuel. The flight was hijacked, lack of fuel meant mechanical failure, and one of the aircraft's wingtips dragged in the water before breaking apart into three pieces. 175 total passengers and crew; 52 survivors. Aircraft - Boeing 767-200ER
Survival Rate - 30%.
The crash of Airbus 330 on May 31, 2009 did not have any survivors. The bodies are still being recovered miles away from where the plane was last reported.

The debris of the plane suggests the pilots may have been flying too fast or too slow through the violent weather they encountered before the crash, officials said.
In addition, investigators have said the plane's autopilot disengaged, cabin pressure was lost and there was an electrical failure before the disaster.

24 message transmissions from the aircraft in the final moments before it crashed Monday into the Atlantic Ocean show there was an "indicated inconsistency in measured air speeds," Airbus said. The company did not elaborate.
Experts said that could mean the pilot's and co-pilots' sensors were showing different speeds.
The search continues but it is unlikely that all the bodies will be found. The black boxes must be recovered to determine what might have caused this horrific incident.

Interview tips and questions
So, yesterday, I had my first in a very long time interview. I must say that the event took the best of me; starting from the night before when tossing and turning I tried to get some sleep. It was hopeless. The morning of the interview was even worst, shaky and sweaty palms and that crazy feeling in my stomach, boy oh boy! It all disappeared the minute I entered the building since I already knew there was no way out. After all they are people not some medieval monsters trying to get you and kill youJ
The advice I would like to give everyone who is planning a new job hunt is to prepare. I did well only because I rehearsed a day and hours before the meeting. I had a very typical interview. Written test and oral interview where all the attention is focused on you. Your potential employer is expecting you to know the answers and does not want to hear you stop talking.
I was asked almost every question I have found on the internet when googling “interview questions”. I remember seeing pages and pages of questions. The interviewers were also making notes and based on my answers asked more questions.
The best part is that it isn’t over and round two is coming up in two to three weeks, if I qualify, of course.
Below are some of the questions you may expect at your interview.
1. Tell me about yourself
2. Why did you leave your last job?
3. What experience do you have in this field?
4. What do you know about this organization?
5. What have you done to improve your knowledge in the last year?
6. What motivates you to do your best at the job?
7. How do you relief your stress?
8. How do you deal with stressful situations?
9. How do you see your supervisor?
10. What in your opinion is a leader?
11. Why do you want to work for this organization?
12. Are you a team player?
13. Do you think team work is important and how do you define it?
14. Explain how you would be an asset to this organization
15. Why should we hire you?
16. What is your greatest strength?
17. Why do you think you would do well at this job?
18. What are you looking for in a job?
19. Tell me about your ability to work under pressure
20. Tell me about a time when you helped resolve a dispute between others.
21. Do you have any questions for me?
22. What is your latest accomplishment?
23. What do you do when you receive an important document with unclear instructions and there is no one to answer your questions?
